This Heirloom Larkspur variety has pearly gray-lavender blooms.Features tall spires of 1 1/2–1 3/4", dense florets on 9–12" flower spikes. Plants produce double blooms with a small percentage of singles.While the colour is like no other, it easily works with many other blooms and has a long vase life for mixed arrangements. The shimmery quality of the petals and yellow pollen enhance the overall effect of this stunner.

How to Grow:
Direct seed in late fall or early spring or start seed indoors in trays 6-8 weeks before last frost and plant out while weather is still cool. Plants do best when sown directly in the garden. Cold tolerant, larkspur can be planted in fall. Speed up germination by popping seeds in the freezer a week before sowing.

 

Harvesting/Vase Life:


Harvest when  2-3 basal flowers open on up to 1/3 of stem. To dry, Dried - flowers on stem are open but before petals drop. Hang upside down.
