Tansy Filler Flower is a textured filler flower that will add a subtle splash of color to your flower arrangements. Full and colorful, these stems produce clusters of flat topped flowers, almost like small buttons. Strongly scented with a sweet smell, yarrow is often included in gardens to attract butterflies.
Folk lore has it that if you hang the dried bunch of yarrow over your bed that you used in your wedding, you will ensure lasting love.

How To Grow :
 Start Tansy seeds directly outdoors once frost danger has passed. Lightly cover the herb seeds and keep them moist. Golden Buttons plants self-sow abundantly by dropping its seeds.
It's best to keep the spent flowers deadheaded in order to keep the Common Tansy herb plants from spreading too aggressively. The herb plants need about an inch of moisture every week.
 
Harvest:
Harvest Tansy leaves anytime. For best quality, always harvest in the morning after the dew has dried. Harvest flowers in the afternoon from midsummer to fall when they are almost fully open
