The sturdy 42 inch stalks are fully packed with huge trumpets of purest white from greenish-white buds. This is the unspotted, pure white Foxglove plant that is popular in white gardens. It is quite stunning!

 Lending an elegant air and grace to any garden design, the popular, but difficult to find, white Foxglove is a carefree treasure, and it is easily grown from Foxglove seeds!

    How to Grow:
    Grow Digitalis Purpurea in full sun to partial shade and in rich, moist soil.

     Sow Foxglove seeds outdoors, directly into prepared soil in the spring after danger of frost has passed.

    Days to germination:14-21 days at 65-70°F (18-21°C).
    Sowing:Transplant (recommended):

    Sow 10-12 weeks before last frost. Do not cover seed as light is required for germination. Bottom water or mist to avoid covering the seed with displaced soil. Transplant into cell packs or larger containers after the first true leaves appear, 15-20 days after sowing. Harden-off and transplant outside after the last frost.

    Direct seed: Sow as soon as soil can be worked, only in areas with long growing seasons. Do not cover seed as light is required for germination. Keep soil moist.

     

    How to harvest:
    Harvest when the lower 1/3 of flowers on a spike have opened. Deadheading encourages additional blooms.
