Cosmos Rubenza is a dwarf, bushy, annual flower with a unique color and many notable characteristics: 
Color: Rubenza Cosmos has a deep ruby red color that fades to a deep rose as it ages. The flowers have a contrasting burnished gold center. 
Size: Rubenza Cosmos grows to be about 20 in tall and 30 in wide. 
Bloom time: Rubenza Cosmos blooms from early summer to fall. 
Maintenance: Rubenza Cosmos is low maintenance and fairly pest-free.

How to Grow:
Starting Indoors: Start indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost. Provide 70-75 ºF soil temperature. Transplant after the last frost,12-18” apart.Sowing Outdoors: Direct sow outdoors after the last frost, sow a few seeds every 6", thin 12-18" apart.Growth Habit: Upright, branchingHeight and Width: 36-48” by 24-36”
Care: Deadheading prolongs flowering, staking tall plants helps keep them upright when the plant is full of blooms. Self-seeds
Tip to bring your cosmos plants into bloom up to 3 weeks earlier when growing under fluorescent lights: once seedlings have emerged provide 11 hours per day of artificial light. Keep seedlings in complete darkness for the remaining 13 hours. After 2 weeks, keep the lights on for 14 or more hours per day.
 
Harvesting:
Deadhead and cut for bouquets regularly to extend the bloom period.Harvest when buds are just begins to open, but haven’t fully opened
