If you enjoy cutting and preserving flowers, Xeranthemum Annuum seeds are a must for your garden. Often called Xeranthemum Everlasting Immortelle, these papery-textured, double daisy flowers are excellent for drying. They are attractive, easily grown, and they are one of the most popular everlasting flowers available.
This white flower with bright white, delicate, paper-like flowers. Long-flowering summer flower with 2-1 1/2- 2" large blooms. 24-32 " tall. Ideally suited to drying. Hang flowering stems upside-down in a safe place. Each Plant has 15-20 branching stems.

How to Grow:
For the earliest blooms, start Xeranthemum seeds indoors in the late winter using small peat pots. For areas with a long growing season, Immortelle seeds can be sown directly outside in a prepared seedbed. Cover the Immortelle flower seed lightly with soil and keep moist. Once established, Immortelle is fairly drought tolerant.
Start seed indoors in trays 8-10 weeks before last frost. Transplant out after all danger of frost has passed.
How to harvest: Cut the flowers in the morning when the bloom is just beginning to open.
For drying :Fresh cut flowers Hang in bunches upside down in a dark well-ventilated room.
